The “Jaguar Ecological Reserve”
|
The “Jaguar Ecological Reserve”, fifteen minutes from the Jungle Lodge by canoe, is an area of about 2.500 acres of primary rain forest. There, you will able to see species of plants that are dificult to be found nowadays in the rest of our region, particularly the highest Amazonian trees, called ceibos, which can reach a height of fifty meters and live a thousand years. Preserving this Reserve from oil, mining and forest activities constitutes one of our commitments in favour of the sustainable development of ecotourism in the Napo province. |
