The Jungle Lodge of "El Albergue Español"

Also along the Napo River, the Jungle Lodge of “El Albergue Español” is one hour and a half sailing from Misahuallí, not far from the San Pedro de Sumino indigenous community.

The cabins are typical wooden constructions on stilts, raised two meters above ground, with a roof made of braided leaves. All the rooms have a private earthenware bathroom, with permanently filtered water and solar powered lighting. You will be able to enjoy an excellent cuisine at the heart of jungle in the restaurant and bar completing the settlement.

Surrounded by 250 acres of primary rain forest and well remote one from another, the cabins combine authenticity and comfort, and let their guests be in direct contact with nature. You will find a important variety of exotic plants and flowers on the paths between each cabin, where hummingbirds come to eat regularly.
